DOMAINE MEUNEAUVE BOURGOGNE CÔTE D'OR - PINOT NOIR
Domaine Meuneveaux Pinot Noir 2021 – Elegant, Refined & Authentic Burgundy Pinot Noir
Domaine Meuneveaux Pinot Noir 2021 is crafted from vineyards mainly located in Aloxe-Corton, with additional parcels in prestigious neighboring villages such as Pernand-Vergelesses, Beaune, and Chorey-lès-Beaune. The domaine works with vines of exceptional age: 15% under 20 years old, 35% between 20 and 40 years old, and 50% over 40 years old-producing naturally concentrated grapes with remarkable depth.
Planted at high density (10,000 vines/ha) to encourage natural competition, each vine yields only 7 to 9 bunches, allowing for highly concentrated, premium-quality fruit.
The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Maceration lasts approximately 15 days. After the free-run wine is separated, it is aged in French oak barrels for 10 to 18 months, depending on vintage. The wine is then blended back into vats before bottling at the estate.
The result is a beautifully balanced Pinot Noir with aromas of red fruits (redcurrant, strawberry), soft tannins, and a smooth, elegant finish—an authentic reflection of Burgundy craftsmanship.
