Domaine Meuneveaux Chardonnay 2023 – Fresh, Elegant & Authentic White Burgundy

Domaine Meuneveaux Chardonnay 2023 is a refined white Burgundy from vineyards mainly located in Aloxe-Corton, with additional parcels in renowned neighboring villages such as Pernand-Vergelesses, Beaune, and Chorey-lès-Beaune. The domaine cultivates vines of exceptional age: 15% under 20 years old, 35% between 20 and 40 years, and 50% over 40 years old-producing naturally concentrated grapes with remarkable aromatic depth.

Planted at a high density of 10,000 vines/ha, the vines compete naturally, resulting in reduced yields and highly concentrated fruit. Each vine produces only 7 to 9 bunches, ensuring excellent quality.

Hand-harvested grapes are pressed immediately, and the free-run juice is transferred directly into barrels for fermentation. The wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, before being filtered and bottled at the estate.

The resulting Chardonnay displays a beautiful golden yellow color, refined aromas of citrus, white flowers, and delicate vanilla, and a lively, fresh palate with a smooth, elegant finish.
