Colour & Aroma

Deep garnet with ruby reflections and impressive concentration. Elegant aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, black plum, red currant, tobacco, cigar box, liquorice, black pepper, cedar, graphite, flint, espresso and dark chocolate, evolving into black truffle, leather, wild mushrooms and forest floor after decanting.

Palate

Full-bodied with a firm yet elegant structure. Fine-grained silky tannins and fresh acidity support layers of cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar, espresso, dark chocolate and cigar box, finishing with Pauillac's signature mineral character.

Style

Elegant, classical, mineral-driven, complex, refined and exceptionally age-worthy.

Food Pairing

Grilled Wagyu beef, beef tenderloin, herb-crusted rack of lamb, roast duck, venison, and aged Comté, Gruyère or Parmesan cheese.
