Colour & Aroma

Deep garnet with remarkable concentration. Complex aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, Cuban cigar box, graphite, cocoa and black truffle, evolving into leather, tobacco, forest floor and mineral notes with bottle age.

Palate

Full-bodied and exceptionally structured with powerful yet finely polished tannins. Vibrant acidity balances the concentrated black fruit, delivering layers of cassis, blackberry, cedar, graphite and cocoa with an extraordinarily long, persistent finish.

Style

Powerful, full-bodied, highly structured, mineral-driven and exceptionally age-worthy.

Food Pairing

Grilled Wagyu beef, dry-aged ribeye, Beef Wellington, herb-crusted rack of lamb, venison, roast duck and aged Comté, Gruyère or Parmesan cheese.
