Colour & Aroma

Deep garnet-purple with remarkable intensity. Elegant aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, red currant, kirsch, violet, rose petals, lavender, cedar, graphite, cigar box, dark chocolate and sweet spices.

Palate

Full-bodied with an exceptionally silky, velvet-like texture, ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Rich layers of cassis, black cherry, blackberry, graphite, cedar, dark chocolate and mineral nuances lead to an extraordinarily long, refined and harmonious finish.

Style

Powerful, elegant, floral, mineral-driven and exceptionally age-worthy.

Food Pairing

Grilled Wagyu beef, Beef Wellington, Prime Rib, herb-crusted roast lamb, venison, black truffle dishes, and aged Comté, Beaufort or Mimolette Extra Vieille cheese.
