Winemaking

Produced from Pinot Nero grapes grown in Abruzzo on calcareous and clay-rich soils. The grapes are harvested during the coolest hours of the day and undergo skin-contact vinification for 7 days, with gentle délestage and punch-down techniques to extract color, aromas, and silky tannins. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 20–22°C, followed by aging in large oak barrels for 12 months.

Color and Aroma

Ruby red in color with garnet reflections. Elegant bouquet featuring notes of vanilla, sweet spices, and forest floor nuances.

Palate and Food Pairing

Elegant and well-structured, with velvety tannins, subtle vanilla notes, and a long, persistent finish. An excellent pairing for game dishes, mushroom-based first courses, and both white and red meats. Best served at 16–18°C.
