Côtes de Bourg appellations was created in 1920 - The official government decrees confirming the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée ( AOC ) were signed on 11th September 1936 for red wines and 19th May 1915 for the wliite.

Aromatic nose of blackcurrant and cherry layered , with notes of vanilla and.
The wine is round on the attack , it is well - balanced.
Elegant bouquet with spicy notes of clove and garrigue , some fruity hints of blackberry and plum and some woody notes of moka and caramel . Long aromatic.
Food - Wine matches: Meat either grilled or in a sauce . It also goes well withe chocolate sesverns.
