Colour & Aroma

Deep garnet with youthful purple reflections. Elegant aromas of cassis, blackberry, red and black cherry, ripe plum, cedar, graphite, flint, roasted coffee, tobacco and delicate smoky notes.

Palate

Full-bodied with a tightly knit structure, silky tannins and vibrant acidity. Rich layers of cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar, espresso and dark chocolate unfold with Haut-Brion's signature smoky minerality, leading to a long, refined finish.

Style

Elegant, refined, mineral-driven and exceptionally age-worthy.

Food Pairing

Grilled Wagyu beef, beef tenderloin with truffle sauce, herb-crusted rack of lamb, roast duck, venison, and aged Comté, Gruyère or Mimolette cheese.
